A building products company decided to bring window and door production in-house after years of reselling imported units with unpredictable lead times. The client had a building, a budget and a market — but no production experience and no internal engineering team to plan the plant.
We delivered the project as a full turnkey scope: production planning and capacity model, plant layout, cost and financial projections for the investment decision, then URS development and a vendor-neutral RFQ covering profile cutting, frame welding, door panel processing and insulated glass unit lines. Our engineers supervised FAT at the suppliers' facilities, coordinated installation contractors, and ran commissioning and operator training on site.
The plant started commercial production in 2024 with three product families in serial output. Lead times dropped from imported eight weeks to in-house eight days, and first-pass quality stabilized above target within the first two months of operation.
